Job Summary: A Finance and VAT Consultant plays a critical role in advising individuals, businesses, and organizations on financial matters, with a specific focus on Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance and optimization. This role involves providing expert guidance on financial strategies, tax planning, and ensuring VAT compliance to minimize financial risks and maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
VAT Compliance:
- Stay updated on VAT laws and regulations in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Assist clients in registering for VAT and obtaining necessary permits.
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT filings.
- Review financial records and transactions to identify potential VAT issues.
- Provide guidance on VAT exemptions, deductions, and allowances.
Tax Planning:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize VAT liabilities.
- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for VAT savings.
- Advise clients on the structuring of transactions to optimize tax efficiency.
- Assist in VAT forecasting and budgeting.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial statements and reports to assess the financial health of clients.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Create financial models to support decision-making processes.
Client Consultation:
- Consult with clients to understand their financial objectives and challenges.
- Provide personalized financial advice and recommendations.
- Address client inquiries and concerns regarding VAT and financial matters.
Audit and Compliance:
- Assist clients in preparing for VAT audits.
- Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities during audits.
- Ensure clients are in full compliance with tax regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and VAT-related documents.
- Prepare and submit VAT reports to tax authorities.
- Generate periodic financial reports for clients.
Research and Education:
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws, regulations, and financial best practices.
- Conduct research to provide clients with up-to-date information.
- Educate clients and team members on VAT compliance and financial matters.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Address client needs and concerns promptly.
- Identify opportunities for expanding services with existing clients.
Experience: Having a minimum of 5 years post-qualification professional experience in Tax & Audit Firm.
Speaking Language: Preferable Arabic Speakers.
Salary : 5000 To 7,000AED
